Well, I finally figured out the points for each word of the day by checking out my transactions. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we get 400 points for the answer and Tuesday and Thursday we get 200 points as I was wondering why it kept switching form 200 to 400 each day, so now you all know too!!
@anonymous In answer to your comment on yesterday's page....
I did choose olives yesterday morning at:
Points 400 Successful 8/18/2008 10:56:34 AM OMNI Word of the Day - Monday August 18, 08 - Successful
There was no choice for meatballs. It was not the answer from the day before because that was sunday and there was nothing on sunday for Omni...on saturday there was only the newsletter bonus code (amusement) and on friday the bonus code was (savoury) so there was no way that it could have been the day before's bonus code.
Omni must have changed it. When I did it yesterday morning it was olives. My friend did it on his account in the afternoon and olives disappeared. It was changed to MEATBALLS. Same as they had on Monday, August 11th. They obviously screwed up and showed the wrong word. Then they had to backpedal and update the website to match what they displayed on the screen. There was nothing I could do about it except change the front page when I found out that Omni had changed it.
@anonymous just for your information... on yesterdays confusion
i am not sure how long you have been doing codes, but it is not the first time a code was given out wrong from the station and then corrected... the code yesterday morning was olives and available in the am, then it changed to meatballs, and the station took the choice right out of the selections making it seem as though it was never there..
this does not happen to often so i would not make such an issue out of it..
